Hey! I know i'm commenting quite late, but i'll add this as well as other similar nodes (layout3x3, layout4x4, etc) to the next library of nodes in the rewrite. |

I'm not sure if you accept PR's at the moment, however
we desperately need some way to compose atlases.
This node can be nested and produce 2x2, 4x4, 16x16, etc. atlases.
I'm not sure where to put my custom node, but I'm happy to adjust the PR.
