Requesting the changes be pulled into the upstream version as they allow for better usage in a shared environment.
Users encountered an issue where the files in /tmp/ were not removed, and were set for permission 644 causing the script to fail entirely. With these changes, the script now changes the perms to 666 and removes the files from /tmp/ when it ends.
