Hi pinging a few active contributors here, if you are missed and interested in being added to the list please also reach out.

Would @cary-rowen @Emil-18 @gexgd0419 @CyrilleB79 @LeonarddeR @bramd @RyanMcCleary @hwf1324 @christopherpross like to be added for any particular parts of NVDA you are comfortable with?

I'm comfortable with math-related functionality (the code under mathPres, the MathCAT integration, MathML in general) and would be happy to be added to the list for math.

As a user with some remaining vision and a mouse user, I can participate in relevant discussions and provide help to the best of my ability.

@hwf1324 - are there any components of NVDA you feel comfortable getting pinged about?

I think it would be mouse tracking, but its underlying layer consists of accessibility API calls, and I don't think I'm an expert in that area.

Hi @seanbudd, I'd love to help out with the upcoming Chinese word segmentation module and Chinese input method support. I've already done some preliminary research on the latter and plan to fix a few bugs in nvdaHelper in the near future.

I agree to be added to this list if it is useful.
My e-mail: cyrille.bougot2@laposte.net

@seanbudd what do you thinnk would be relevant for me?

Looking at my PRs, I have mainly worked on:

  • Speech
  • Magnifier and visual highlight
  • Localization, GUI and user experience, documentation
  • MS Office

But no very specific field of full expertise.

@seanbudd , I'm added to experts for braille, but I don't know anything about hardware I/O and liblouis), text encoding and utilities. I helped with marks for paragraphs, reporting spelling errors etc. Feel free to add something like (excluded hardware I/O and liblouis), text encoding and utilities) or to remove me from braille if you feel it will be confusing having me for this section. I'm also for the add-pon store.

I wonder if it would be better to organize this by topics, for example:

Community

Speech output

And a table mentioning @CyrilleB79

Magnifier

And a table mentioning @CyrilleB79 and others.

Braille

And a table mentioning @LeonarddeR @bramd , and if you want @nvdaes

In this way, people could search for the desired topic to find relevant people.

@seanbudd I think I am good with NVDAObjects/TextInfos, in the sence that I know what to implement when things doesn't work as expected. I am not as good in the internals, for example, in the issue about the magnification not following the focus in Excel, I know the cause is that ExcelCell.location isn't implemented, but I don't know how to use the Excel COM API to implement it. I also think I am quite good in UIA

Hi,

Unless someone is working on it, feel free to add me as an expert on Windows Insider Preview builds and operating system compatibility (while I am no longer actively contributing, some of the work I did touch OS and feature compatibility work).

Thanks.

@CyrilleB79 @zstanecic @Emil-18 @josephsl - can you review what I've added?

@nvdaes - I don't think we have enough entries with enough structured data to make groupings like this. We hope this is more searchable via tags/keywords instead

I'm not a regular braille user (even if I have a braille device), and have only modified very few things in braille code.
I do not consider myself expert of braille subsystem and features at all.
