This library is developed in the scope of the Crises Information Platform Sigimera [1]. As primary target it should simplify the information gathering from different sources. The focus lays on information that are relevant for the domain of crises (natural disasters) management, although it could be used for different domains and scenarios. The plan is to start with a specialized domain (crises information) and extend it step-wise to other domains.
The need of such an library is to hide the underlying complexity how to access the data. It is the first step towards a platform that is able to evaluate this combined information and visualize it to the users.
It is possible that the build fails without reason. That is not an implementation problem, but a problem with the connection to the sources.
