This is long overdue, but in the interest of making it easier to onboard new members, I've added a page to describe the different official roles within the project. I see this as complementary to the Development-and-Release page so I made them siblings and added links between them.
This is meant to be a less formal and more digestible overview than the project charter. While the charter describes formal processes, this doc is more focused on informal practices and expectations.
Current PMC members are encouraged to review this document and flag anything that doesn't fit your expectations, or to suggest adding anything that you believe is missing.
We'll discuss this document at the next PMC session before officially merging it.
