Social media app for ranting. Record your thoughts, filter them through AI, and share anonymously. Built as a design challenge capstone project.
Untethered is the app for when you need to get something off your chest but don't want it tied to your identity.
- Record — Voice memo your rant
- Filter — AI processes it (removes identifiers, suggests improvements)
- Transcribe — Convert to text
- Post — Share to the anonymous feed
- Engage — React and comment on others' rants
Record → Filter → Transcribe → Post → Feed. The filtering step is key — it uses AI to detect and remove personal identifiers while preserving the sentiment.
This was a semester-long team project for the Design Challenge capstone. James handled all coding and architecture.
Anonymous but community-driven. Rants surface based on engagement, recency, and AI-curated relevance.
