@austin3dickey will we get version bumps like this from the upstream merges? Can you evaluate if we should take this or close it? |

Sadly upstream hasn't done a release in over three months 😬 at some point we're going to have to determine which security patches are easy enough to do ourselves, and we'll deal with possible conflicts if/when they release again. Looks like this one is easy enough though. Maybe we should take it? @isabelizimm do you agree? |

Oh yeah they did take an identical PR microsoft/vscode-python#25977 already. I'll merge this. |
