StackTruck

A web application designed to facilitate client and driver interactions for booking and updating truck transportation services. Built with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, the app provides features for user registration, login, and managing transportation details.

Installation

Follow these steps to set up the application:

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/purneshsv/StackTruck.git
   cd StackTruck
   
   

Install dependencies:

npm install

Set up the MongoDB connection:

mongoose.connect("your-mongodb-connection-string", { useNewUrlParser: true, useUnifiedTopology: true, });

Start the application:

npm start

Usage

Client Features

• Register: Create a client account with details like name, email, and phone number.
• Login: Access your profile and manage bookings.
• Book Trucks: Search for trucks based on route and capacity and confirm bookings.

Driver Features

• Register: Create a driver account with details like license number, truck type, and insurance policy.
• Login: Update truck availability, routes, and capacity details.
