This PR implements a zero-copy read optimization for
ShareableArray.Previously,
readItemwould:Uint8Arrayview on theSharedArrayBuffer(source). This was ostensibly done because some decoders couldn't read directly from SharedArrayBuffer. However,
NumberEncoderusesDataView, which supports it.The new implementation:
Uint8Arrayview on theSharedArrayBuffer(source). This required fixing a bug in
NumberEncoderwhere it was doingnew DataView(buffer.buffer), which ignores the view's offset. It is nownew DataView(buffer.buffer, buffer.byteOffset, buffer.byteLength).This change improves performance by avoiding unnecessary memory allocation and copying during read operations.
