- Extended CMake compatibility to 4.1.
- Dropped Python 2.x support; minimum required Python is now 3.7.
- Added Python 3.13 to test matrix and classifiers.
- Removed obsolete setuptools and setup.py references.
- Updated build backend to use hatchling exclusively.
- Updated release notes and migration notes accordingly.
