@activescott Thanks for this PR, it's working beautifully for me so far on Raspberry Pi OS with Python3. I'm using it to provide the instantaneous usage to Home Assistant. |

This is a pretty minimal set of changes to make this library work on python3. I tested on macOS Monterey 12.1 and Python 3.9.10 with a Rainforest Automation EMU-2 (Z105-2-EMU2-LEDD_JM).
