This repository contains the majority of code I wrote during my education on Business Academy SouthWest in Esjberg, Denmark spanning from 2014 to 2018.
Most of the projects will likely not work as-is, since (most) build files and dependencies have been removed to save space. The code is read-only and none of the projects here should run for any practical purpose. It may be necessary to reinstall and even restructure projects if they are ever to run again.
It is not the intention of this repository to preserve the systems within, rather it exists for storing and displaying the code for posterity. Text materials like raw notes and report assignments related to the code are not included.
First and second semester were comprised of coding Java in Greenfoot and NetBeans and learning SQL database concepts. At the end of the year, I received the first prize in the academy's Greenfoot Challenge for developing the best game in 48 hours. The game in question was "A Pong of Ice and Fire". The game's source code can be found under the Greenfoot projects.
Third semester went with learning C# syntax and concepts using Visual Studio, along with web front end tools to produce API and website solutions. Furthermore, we spent a bit of time learning about networking and how it works in Cisco hardware.
Fourth semester consisted of Android development in Android Studio. I took up some game dev lecturing from my professor due to prior experience with Unity. I also went to the US after first half of fourth semester working with full stack web apps in Javascript and game development with Unity. For these reasons there is significantly less content for the fourth semester period.
Finally, for the fifth and final semester I worked as an intern at a software development company. At this company, I produced only internal code that will not be included in this repository for obvious reasons.
After the AP in CS, I took a software developer bachelor, where I learned theory about more advanced concepts. For this reason, the bachelor period contains significantly less code and works with already established concepts in C# and Javascript. It was at this point in time I started working an actual job, which naturally shadowed some aspects of education.
