Roman Domrachev

Founding engineer and senior Go backend engineer. Built and operate WebSocket infrastructure handling 400k concurrent connections and a Kafka→ClickHouse analytics pipeline ingesting ~5k events/s — as sole architect, from zero to production.

Focused on sustained concurrency, predictable throughput, and cost-stable scaling. Work at the boundary of product and engineering: shaped API contracts, defined SLOs with partners, and translated product vision into technical constraints.

Stack

Go, WebSockets, Kafka/Redpanda, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Grafana/VictoriaMetrics.

Location

Based in Yerevan, Armenia. Open to remote roles in the EU. Relocation: France.
