Isn't "num" often used as a generic abbreviation for "number"? This preference you're proposing seems more confusing than anything else. |

I've seen "num" and "denom" used for a division in various places. However, I can easily change it to spell out "numerator" instead. My main goal here is to avoid using "numer" specifically, because that prevents detecting it as a typo for "number". |
