The 1.63 release is happening pretty soon. You might as well wait a week or so with the release so you can start on that MSRV. |

Also update MSRV to 1.62. In the future we'll switch to 1.63 so we can use the I/O safety feature stabilised in 1.63: rust-lang/rust#95118.
I've also created the v0.4.x branch for backports.
