Notes and discussion on Avi Loeb's paper about 3I/ATLAS, the third confirmed interstellar object to pass through our solar system.

## Background

**3I/ATLAS** is the designation for the third interstellar object ever confirmed, following 1I/'Oumuamua (2017) and 2I/Borisov (2019). It was discovered by the ATLAS (Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System) survey.

**Avi Loeb** is a Harvard astrophysicist known for his research into interstellar objects, including prior work on 'Oumuamua. His paper on 3I/ATLAS discusses the object's trajectory, physical properties, and possible origins.
