Superseding this in favour of c35b0d2, which does the git2 0.21 upgrade properly.

The bare version bump in this PR can't be merged as-is: git2 0.21 changed several accessors (Remote::url, Reference::name, StatusEntry::path) from returning Option to Result, so the bump alone fails to compile. It also flipped its default features from ["ssh", "https"] to [] — since our dependency relies on default features, a version-only bump would silently drop both transports.

c35b0d2 handles all of that: adapts the call sites, explicitly enables https (and unstable-sha256 for #35), and intentionally leaves ssh off since DotState uses the system git CLI for SSH. Closing this one out.
