Maven general Notes

Example of file moving

With the ant plugin

<plugin>
	<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
	<artifactId>maven-antrun-plugin</artifactId>

How to change target directory

But I prefer the ant plugin, don't like this solution

Use this profile

<profiles>
        <profile>
            <id>otherOutputDir</id>
            <build>
                <directory>C:\usr\servers\liferay-dxp-digital-enterprise-7.0-sp7\deploy\</directory>
            </build>
        </profile>
</profiles>

Common errors

Execution default of goal org.springframework.boot:spring-boot-maven-plugin:2.0.5.RELEASE:repackage failed:Unable to find main class

ok it was a child module, frontend one without java code

I fixed it changing the packaging from jar to pom

old pom:
