Hi, I'm Talia

Front-End Engineer. I work on the parts most people skip: semantic structure, CSS architecture, accessibility. Angular and TypeScript by day, Svelte by personal conviction.

I build interfaces that hold up: readable six months later, WCAG-compliant without a last-minute audit panic, and structured so the next developer doesn't have to reverse-engineer your intentions from 400 lines of utility classes.

Enterprise background: education, healthcare, online services. The kind of products where "we'll fix it later" has real consequences.

Creative pedant. I show up, meet deadlines, and actually care about the people I ship with

What I work with

Core: Angular · TypeScript · HTML · CSS/SCSS
Architecture: BEM · ITCSS · design tokens · component systems
Accessibility: WCAG 2.1 · ARIA · Lighthouse · screen reader testing
Tooling: Git ·Playwright · Figma · REST APIs · RxJS

What I think about

  • Why CSS architecture fails, and how to build systems that don't
  • Accessibility as design constraint, not audit checklist
  • Users don't attend sprint planning. I do it for them.
  • Semantic HTML: the cheapest performance win nobody bothers with

A deliberate rewrite: same design, different architecture. Exploring what changes when you bring component thinking, design tokens, and accessibility to a layout-first project.
