DaveWare

DaveMan

(Sprites ripped by: Andres1812)

Hello, user! I wrote this piece of malware inspired by Rensenware. However, Rensenware uses Undefined Fantastic Object. DaveWare uses Dangerous Dave. Specificly, the very first dangerous dave. Downloadable here: Download dangerous dave from the non-profit orginazation known as dosgamesarchives. or, download it from the windows store (Just search Dangerous Dave)

I use dosbox -x for emulation, but you don't need to emulate at all! Just download it from the windows store! This script will check for win.png to release all of your files!

Virus by McaFeeHater, aka Thebakedbeangunslingerdev The way to decrypt all of your files? Finish/win the entire Dangerous Dave game. Dangerous Dave by John Romero and published by Softdisk in 1990 for DOS

BIG PROBLEMS!!!

If win.png is never detected (wrong resolution, missing file, pyautogui fails, etc.), all files stay encrypted permanently There is no fallback recovery path.

About

A ransomware. The only way to decrypt your files? Win the original Dangerous Dave game. Please read the readme
