Auto-generated by model-addition-agent for aws-bedrock/eu.anthropic.claude-sonnet-5.

Note

Low Risk
Single new static model metadata file; no application logic or routing changes.

Overview
Adds a new AWS Bedrock provider definition for eu.anthropic.claude-sonnet-5, the EU inference-profile variant of Claude Sonnet 5.

The entry marks the model active for chat with thinking enabled, text/image input, and the usual Claude Bedrock capabilities (tools, prompt caching, structured/JSON output, etc.). Limits are set to a 1M context window and 128K max output tokens. Costs list nine EU regions but only as region placeholders—no per-token pricing fields yet, unlike fuller sibling YAMLs.

Documentation links point to the Bedrock Claude Sonnet 5 model card and inference-profile support page.

Missing unsupported parameter removal

Medium Severity

The profile has no removeParams, while providers/aws-bedrock/default.yaml still exposes temperature and top_p for Bedrock. Peer Sonnet 5 entries remove those keys so clients do not send unsupported sampling params to this model.

Missing max_tokens param override

Medium Severity

limits allow 128000 output tokens, but there is no model-level params entry for max_tokens. Provider defaults cap max_tokens at 2048, so tooling can under-report or clamp requests for this model.
