For use cases where the a rebase strategy is necessary, it would be useful to provide a configuration to reject commits that are "merge commits" for example the commit message
Merge branch main into feat/my-featureFor the versioning, I'm not sure what to do, it seems the CONTRIBUTING.md is specifically for those who have the credentials to push releases up. @adrians5j any suggestions?
