my personal site. i built it brick by brick. this is the branch where i make changes. special thanks to @jeremyboggs for helping walk through my muddy code, and to @walshbr for insisting on the virtues of blog writing. ——winnieepm
I use 11ty to develop it and GitHub Pages to host it free of charge. The repo has two main active branches main and deploy. In the first, I work on making changes and local testing while the deploy branch simply hosts a copy of the _site/ generated in final production and serves it through GitHub.

Clone your own version of this repo if you want to make your own version. Using a CLI, navigate to the project root directory and run npm start to locally deploy the site in your computer browser. This is a custom build script I added to replace the more verbose npx @11ty/eleventy --serve --watch.
Eleventy generates a home page to feature intro content, a sample selection of 4 blogs and projects, and a main navigation bar.
Blogs and projects sample are dynamically displayed combining a for loop and data functionalities to always show the most recent 4 results in each category.
Each collection can be individually explored further by visiting their respective main pages in the navbar.
