…ase 12a-3) Closes the gate-review test gaps from Phase 12a-2 + adds the contract + integration tiers the architecture fitness function requires for every shipped slice. Removes calibration entries from all 4 EXEMPT_FROM_* allowlists. What ships: **Tier A — aggregate-layer gap tests:** - `test_calibration_state.py` (17 tests): CalibrationDescription VO trim + bound + frozen, CalibrationStatus + CalibrationQuantity enum value-locks, 9-error-class instantiation pins - `test_calibration_quantities.py` (10 tests): every quantity has registered schemas; every schema is closed + declares required keys - `event_type_name` pin for CalibrationRevisionAppended - Multi-revision fold-vs-evolve replay-determinism invariant - `RunAborted` dedicated forward-compat test for the Phase-1 decided_by_decision_id field (cross-BC consistency review P1 #9) **Tier B — query handler unit tests:** - `test_get_calibration_handler.py` (3 tests): hit / miss / deny - `test_list_calibrations_handler.py` (4 tests): empty page / filter passthrough / no-default discipline / deny **Tier C — contract tests (8 files, 4 REST + 4 MCP):** - define_calibration endpoint + MCP tool - append_revision endpoint + MCP tool (incl. each source kind + each status + supersedes-not-found-on-aggregate-400) - get_calibration endpoint + MCP tool (incl. multi-revision response shape + FastMCP T|None result-slot convention) - list_calibrations endpoint + MCP tool (incl. filter passthrough + limit bounds 422) **Tier D — integration test:** - `test_define_calibration_handler_postgres.py` (3 tests): event persistence with full payload pin; Postgres jsonb canonicalisation on identity-tuple query (Q6 lock); duplicate-identity UNIQUE-constraint catch at projection drain time (the design memo's deferred-lookup-port tradeoff: duplicate events get written but the projection fails-loud rather than silently corrupting the read model) **Tier E — allowlist cleanup:** - All 8 calibration entries removed from EXEMPT_FROM_ENDPOINT_CONTRACT + EXEMPT_FROM_MCP_CONTRACT + EXEMPT_FROM_HANDLER_UNIT + EXEMPT_FROM_INTEGRATION All 10,518 unit + contract + architecture tests pass. Phase 12 is now fully tested at all 4 tiers; pilot can proceed to wiring Run.calibration_pins (12b) and Dataset.calibrations_used (12c).
