Remove discontinued Ledger Nano S

Closes partially: #4662

Summary

Ledger officially retired the Nano S from production in 2022. In the Spring 2025 update, Ledger confirmed the full phase-out of support: no more firmware updates, no security patches, and no new app support. The Nano S hardware has reached its technical limits due to its 320KB memory constraint.

While the device still functions for basic Bitcoin transactions, it is no longer manufactured, no longer sold by Ledger, and no longer receiving updates. New users following bitcoin.org's recommendation would be unable to purchase it through official channels and would not receive future security updates.

Ledger's current product line includes the Nano S Plus, Nano X, Nano Gen5, Flex, and Stax, all actively supported.

Evidence

Ledger Spring 2025 update:
"Ledger is transitioning away from the Ledger Nano S. As a result, new applications, feature submissions, and app updates on the Nano S will not be accepted."

CTO Charles Guillemet (May 30, 2025):
Confirmed the permanent end of software updates, citing memory limitations (320KB) preventing support for modern applications and security features.

Based on @crwatkins' feedback on #4664, the same reasoning applies here: holding off on the actual removal until the current Ledger lineup (Nano S Plus, Nano X, Nano Gen5, Flex, Stax) can be listed in a coordinated way would avoid any external speculation about the reason for removal.

I'll leave this PR open but paused pending vendor engagement.

Just checking if there’s any feedback or thoughts on this.

Thanks in advance!
