Preserve the provenance and analysis behind the upstream fix (submitted as
wordpress-develop PR #12249 / Trac #18549, comment:37). All under docs/ —
export-ignored, so none of it ships in the theme package.
- repro/wptexturize-18549-historic-compat.{patch,plugin} — the comprehensive
fix (core patch + rendered-output plugin prototype) that was submitted.
- repro/wptexturize-18549-7.0-compat.{patch,plugin} — the minimal fallback.
- repro/wptexturize-18549-historic-inventory.md — the eight historical Trac
attachments (archived in repro/trac-18549-historic/) inventoried and mapped.
- repro/wptexturize-18549-review-and-performance.md — independent review,
attachment dig, and the local performance analysis.
- wordpress-contributions.md — gains the submitted-status block linking the PR
and the Trac comment.
- .gitignore — keep the local-only minimal Trac comment draft out of the repo.
The canonical fix now lives in PR #12249; these are the working notes and record.
