Mission Settings

No. Explanation
1 Set the mission name and a general description that is displayed when selecting the mission in the app (for example the mission card text). Under Additional Info you can add a single line of information shown on the setup screen. Use this, for example, to tell players that they are not allowed to bring certain allies.
2 Enter the name of the campaign the mission belongs to, if any.
3 Select the mission type (Story, Side, Forced) and assign any traits (such as Agenda, Personal, Finale... Also, if this is an adaptation of an official mission, select the Mission ID according to the list found here.
Note: When you select "Side" as the mission type, the Saga app automatically increases threat by twice the threat level and resolves an optional deployment at the beginning of the mission.
4

Set the priority target. The priority target determines who the Imperial figures try to attack. This is usually chosen randomly between any healthy rebel figure, but in some missions it makes sense to set a specific priority target, such as a hero, an ally, or a general descriptor like “the Rebel carrying the mission token”.

Priority targets can be changed through event actions later.

5 Set which factions to allow for open groups. Most missions allow both, but some limit the choices.
6 Set whether the Rebels control a specific ally from the start. If a specific ally is deployed later by an event, use an event action for that.
7 Set the initial Reposition Instructions, if any. They are displayed in each instruction window.
8 Determine whether a specific ally is banned. In some missions, no allies are allowed.
9 Each mission starts with an event displaying the mission briefing. Create the event, then select it here.
10 Set the starting mission information. This is basic information about what the heroes need to do do win or lose.
11 Set the starting objective. This is a quick reminder of what the heroes need to do.
12 If you want to ban certain groups from appearing (such as Tusken Raiders on Hoth), select the group here and click the + to add them to the Banned Groups. You can remove groups from the list by selecting them and clicking the red X.
13 Set the language of the mission.
